Whats the best general purpose film speed for a Holga ?

I have just brought a Holga Hooray ! I have never used such superb sophisticated technology so am wondering what would be a good general purpose film speed ? I was thinking of going B&W 400 ASA but thought I would ask first. I have some top of the range camera back holding tape ready ( you don't get this level of sophistication with nambie pambie digital ) Is the view finder square ? Could I fit a shutter cable to one ? How do you bodge a filter thread onto one ?

Most people seem to recommend 400 speed film. I've only ever used Tri-X in my Holga. ("only ever" = one roll )

I generally use 400asa film in mine and generally keep the aperture on the "cloudy" setting. I've used 100asa too on bright days though.
