whats the best deal you have done?

hi all,

new bloke here been reading through the posts lately and thought id join up, you seem like a decent bunch! haha

I am a full time photographer, running the photography department at a company specialising mainly in schools and college photos, from individual nursery portraits, right through to co-ordinating whole school panoramics upto about 1800 people! Also gradually building my own business, and do pretty much any private work that comes about from events, to weddings, studio work etc. And i love it!

Thats enough about me, what i want to know is, money aside, what it the best deal you have done for your photography services, as in swapping something other than hard cash for prints, cd, time, etc.

I theres always something very appealing about deals to be done.

Had a few complimentary Track days from my photography, various free VIP entrys, plus guests just for having the camera, a bit of a blag, and supplying a few images.

So lets hear em then...............

haha, fair play, shoulda seen that coming. they were the days, before relationships, of offering model portfolios for the local girls, haha

A free seat (unofficial) and barbecue at the London Red Bull air race, to which I offered a full size print of my best shot from the day. ..delivered two of my favorite shots a few weeks later and gotten myself invited for the next one. ...if it happens.

I do the karate clubs photography and website, in return my daughter gets her training and equipment - approximate saving £5000pa for averaging 1 hour work a week - and umpteen hours just being the supportive parent/taxi of course
