whats the best £200'ish point and shoot

this is on behalf of the Mrs, need to get her a new point and shoot. mostly for taking random shots of our young Daughter and days out etc. budgets about £200..

Just my thoughts, but my next point and shoot is going to be a mobile phone with a decent camera on it. It is always with you and always ready.

Unless you want lots of zoom etc.

I just bought my Grandad a Lumiz TZ-8 for Christmas.

Nice and easy to use and a useful zoom range.

yeah thats a good idea but her phones camera isnt all that good and shes still got a long contract on it so stuck with it for some time yet..

a decent zoom and wide angle would be a bonus..
