I'm confused.

I just phoned up Virgin Media to cancel the internet service as I shall be moving out of the student house next month, and 6 and a half minutes later it's all done, no faffing around, no hard sales attempts, friendly service.

Has a communications company just... Communicated!?
 
If only it was always so simple!!
 
I've also found that the phone number you ring to cancel gets picked up a lot quicker than the standard customer services number. I think they must put their best people on the cancellations number!
 
It happened to a mate with a Sky subscription. He rang up to cancel with the thought that they were going to offer him as better deal to stay. But they just cancelled it
 
:lol: Don't speak too soon . . . just wait until you're still getting billed six months down the line :p

Said in jest, I'm sure.....But so remember to cancel any direct debits from your end.
 
Was planning on removing the DD from my bank account as soon as the last payment goes through, as I've heard a number of horror stories! :thumbs:
