Yes
Ive been thinking about re homing my D2hs due to the fact that I hardly ever use it since I bought my D3. They seem to be very few and far between to gauge an idea of what its worth, so has anyone got an idea roughly of what it might fetch. The thing that concerns me about selling it now though is that everyone seems to be het up about mega pixels, the more the merrier so to speak. I only say this a friend of mine was looking at it with interest until I told him that it was only 4.1mp to which he replied ' even my phone has more then that' to which he promptly put it down and walked away, no answer to that really

Well at only 4.1 it creates better quality images than some 8-9 megapixels. To be honest all these people who go on about the more megapixels the better are just showing how little they really know. What you need are good lenses. Megapixels only really come into it when you start blowing stuff up to poster size. I've never been a big fan of the D2hs my self. It would be worth a few hundred I would guess? have a look on ebay and see what their going for?

You need a local rag sports tog that shoots cricket - worth its weight in gold for that job - but not too popular with the goota have mp people ..

I'd expect around £500 - I have two of them and I won't part with them - even though I also shoot with 2 D3 bodies now. They are GREAT cameras and have a unique quality to the images. I get 18" x 12" prints without any problem. For web work you wouldn't know it wasn't a D3 - unless the light was really poor. They'll shoot up to 1250 ISO easily - more at a push. I'd keep it - even for occasional use - you'd regret giving it away for £500 - you might not even get that - the prices on Ebay have gone down a lot over the past year.

Thanks guys. I havn't really decided if I want to get rid of it yet, was only testing the water so to speak.
Andrew, yes I more than likely would regret selling it as it took me an absolute age to get this one as it was the 'pro spec' camera I had wanted for a long time. It still comes out now and again, probably not as much as it should though. Maybe I will just ride this rough patch and keep hold of it.

You should - at the very least be an excellent BU camera.
