What you say, not another 365!

spuds will grow in anything. in the past i have grown them on tarmac...you put down a bed of manure, set the seed potatoes on it and cover with straw. as the plants grow you put more straw on and eventually you just take the spuds out of the straw covering when you need them. easy...

as for beans, dig a shallow trench and fill it with manure, beans on top, cover with soil and watch them grow...
 
thanks for the advice Ian, sounds like a plan. we have a lot of patio that could be used in this way. i have put the beans in now and a row of spuds just fingers crossed now lol

Thanks Mich, yeah he/shes a funny looking little thing. My partner cant bare to look at those photos lol.

im really pleased with the bee photos, though some where very noisy but some guys from the Olympus forum are helping me out with some noise reduction software.
