I know CS5 release is just around the corner, butwhat feature do you wish PS had, but you can't find?
I regularly take large batches of photos, and don't like fully automating the process. I consider myself pretty experienced with PS since using it from v6. I know how to work actions, and thats not the answer. I go through each photo individually and make adjustments as I go, But life would be so much easier if I could have my own custonm drop down menu where I could group the tools and options that I most use, instead of flitting around trying to remember where everything is. I probably dont use 90% of the other options.
What do you want??

A feature whereby it doesn't randomly crash for no reason when you're in the middle of something really important

I find that everytime I wish there was a feature- a quick google/look through the manual and I find its already there :)

You could do that with configurator today.

Create a new panel / panels for your preferred toolset and you're away.

I want full 64bit support for more than 3GB RAM. Oh, that's in CS5... :)

Hi Jason,
can you expand on that a bit? Its not the tool panels I'm trying to sort, but the drop down menus. I'd like to have just one dropdown with my most used menu items in it.

If you get the configurator you can build a panel with all your preferred tools, options, brushes, actions etc on. So you turn all those things you want in the drop down menus into buttons.

You can build multiple panels, so you can have different panels for different PS tasks, e.g. Retouching, Montages, etc.

The other option, and the one I favour most, is learn the keyboard shortcuts. Combine shortcuts with configurator panels and you shouldn't need to use the menu's at all for your most frequent tasks.

Jason, you are a star  That is a well hidden little gem of a program and one I can heartily recommend to anyone. Took a few attempts to get it to work properly, but got there in the end.
Fantastic!!!!

Edit: Got to go out now for a while, but I'll post a screen shot when I get back so peeps can see the result.

I'd like something that will automatically remove all the "Public safety" suff from my wedding images. Handrails, fire exit signs, fire extinguishers, those lovely ones that swing on chains are a barsteward to remove because, unlike the wall mounted ones, the lighting on them is usually different. I hate them. :)

A version of Bridge that actually works and the ability to use more than 3gb RAM. Pricing won't change as they have no competition.

Heres my new custom menu/tool pallette. All I want in view. Its the panel on the far left. I leave it open all the time, but it can be minimised if required.

Can this be done with PSE?

No problems, it was Gry Garness told me about it, and it's really, really handy!

No, it's for CS4 only I'm afraid. I don't know of anything similar for Elements.
