Yes
I got wonderin'.................

There are lots of types of photography which people would be queing up to do (a nice three week glamour shoot on a tropical island would do me nicely  ) but I wondered what sort of jobs wouldn't people want to do.....?

I remember from my old TV days, the worse job was working on news and doorstepping (I spent six days outside Jeremy Archer's house once in winter, and never saw him once).

What would be your worst job?

...let's put it another way.

Someone rings you with a Togging job: what would they have to offer you to make you go 'oh, no thanks, really.........'

Hanging around some z-list celebrities house for a week hoping to snap a shot of them doing something exciting like cutting their toenails .

Forensic tog work has got to be pretty hard going and unpleasant...

Passport photos. I get calls all the time asking if I do them which I deftly avoid by quoting silly money.

I get asked the same - how could anyone imagine calling a photographer would be cheaper / quicker than going to a photo booth somewhere ???

Vanity is the normal reason. They want better photos than the booths but figure it will only cost a tenner for me to do it. When I say £50 and that they'll be no guarantee it will be accepted by the passport office because of all the rules they decide the booth isn't such a bad option after all :D

I did take on one job for a guy who wanted some shots to upload to his internet dating page, I had a moment of weakness and was feeling kind plus I figured I might get a wedding booking out of it

I actually really like forensic stuff! Having worked in a pathology lab I've photographed my fair share of really gruesome stuff. :gag:

What would I not do?

I think I'm with hanging around in the cold waiting for some Z list nobody, that I've never heard of, to do something even remotely human.

Weddings, funerals & Bahmiztvahs.

Kiddies parties,

Pet portraits,

Papparazzi stalking stylee.

Kids portraits.

HDR.

Sports. Kids. I don't like the subject matter.

Not overly interested in nature either, mainly because I don't have the patience.

Still, the right money would have me photographing anything.

Studio stuff. When doing it at college I just found it downright boring and uninteresting.

This and being a schools photographer arghh they all may pay good money but I just don't see the fun in any of these types of photography it just feels very sterile.Same goes for anything in a studio.

I think the worst and the best would be a war photographer.

I'd love to do war photography one day.

I'd never be a paparzzi photographer (not that they are photographers really, just nobs with cameras).

I wouldn't do paparazzi work- they give the human race a bad name.

I don't want to do candid photography , i just hate doing photo's of other people they don't interest me!.. See em every damn day lol

Sorry humans :D

At the moment, I don't feel very confident in my photo skills, so anything "once in a lifetime" is a complete no-no.

I'd run a mile from special events e.g. weddings where as I'd have a crack at other things if the only downside was non payment. That said, I'm a newbie still so the oppurtunity would probably not presnt itself (unless it was an informal "can you take some pics for me..."

When we ran a Wedding & Portrait business, I had an enquiry for a portrait shoot. Thing is, it wasn't until a little way into the chat, that he mentioned that he and his wife are naturists!....I said I wasn't really comfortable with that but my wife would be prepared to! Never heard back from them!

For me though, Paparazzi or scene of crimes (or husband and wife naturists!)!

Seriously, is there anything anyone wouldn't photograph for enough money?

Being ex forces i would love to go to iraq or afghanistan and work with our lads in action. i couldnt stand following celebs around!!

Can't really think of anything...oh wait...FUNERALS!!

Not enough money to get me to photograph a funeral!!!

I do forensics and serious crime scenes daily and it does pay some of the bills but definitely not a funeral!

i have never heard of a tog being asked to do a funeral?

Why do you assume that they want it cheaper and quicker?

I might well go to a 'tog next time, to get a PP photo that is decently lit, comfortably posed and which doesn't make me look like a terrorist.

A PP photo lasts a long time and is seen by many people, and I would quite like it NOT be the worst portrait of me that I have seen. I would be willing to pay money and wait time in order to achieve that.

Yup, this seems like the most boring of all them. Even kiddie parties are cooler.

War tog, now that would be cool although a little dangerous like.

There isn't much that one wouldn't do for enough money, may be War Jounalism. Not that I don't like the subject, in fact i would very much like to do it, I can see that it is a subject that will yield a LOT of good shots from. But I don't want getting kill doing it.

But as a general preference, i don't like doing formals, landscapes and motorsports.
