I'm off to Warwick for a couple of days tomorrow, has anyone got tips on where/what to shoot in the area. :)

The castle although its not cheap to go in I understand there's nice shots down by the river and there are plenty of old photogenic buildings throughout the town

As above, the Castle would be my first option. You are also only a few mile from Stratford-upon-Avon where you have heaps of places to shoot.

If you go to the castle at certain times in the summer they do some mock fighting, a jousting tournament, and even fire the trebuchet if you fancy some action shooting as well as crumbly building shooting.

Although it's getting dark by the time the jousting starts so you'd need a decent fast lens, or flash. It finishes about 9:30 to 10pm if I remember correctly so it's OK value for money then.

Actually inside the castle there are some well preserved (reinstated?) interiors, suits or armour etc as well.

Castle is really expensive (although quite magnificent) but there are some photography opportunities if you look hard enough - the bird of prey shows, the peeps in period costume, the museum/house....

Warwick itself is a nice town, as is Kenilworth (there is a castle there too) and you're a 10-minute drive from Stratford so there are a lot of things around there. Leamington is nice too; big, wide parades with late 1800/early 1900 architecture abound.

Cheers Chaps.

I'm sure there be plenty especially if the weather stays good.

The castle would be worth the money, I was there a few weeks ago for a wedding I'm in London tomorrow but I and another TPer are going over to the castle in the next few days ;)

The rest of Warwick you have lots historic buildings including a really great church saint mary's

Stratford you again have lost of history and the river, we had a TP Meet in Stratford butterfly farm that was a brilliant location :)
