Yes
I was supposed to be in the Lakes this weekend but had to come home....

therefore, what can I do this weekend (I live near crewe)

options so far:

1. Go to Track day at Oulton Park
2. Go and watch Middlewich town Football Club

anything else.... open to most things photography wise.... the wife will be happy if its something I can drag her and the dog along to, but thats not mandatory ;)

Oulton PArk. You wont find anything better :D

IF you want to take the dog you could go to Delamere but it is a bit crap for photography TBH.

Ahhhh!!!

So that's why I recognise Oulton!

Went camping to Delamere and I have to agree with Matt, really is nothing worth photographing there that I could see...

For photography, yes. Obviously there is no races so there is no fast and furious action but if you love cars and taking pictures of cars then they are fantastic :D

There's always still the chance that someone with more power than talent will end up scraping their pride and joy off the armco :naughty:

Chester itself,
Jodrell Bank (if youlike that kind of thing)
Tatton Park
If you like Fast cars, then try one of the many sets of services on the M6 :)
Northwhich (anderton boat lift, salt mines, canal stuff)
Chester Zoo (though cold)

went to Gaunlet bird of prey centre near knutsford. had a good afternoon with afew birds being flown about, was really good was able to get really close to them.

don hink the dog will be welcome though

Beeston Castle. Wonderful views from the top of the hill, especially if it snows.

Strange name for a dog.
Things to do in Cheshire. Find the road out.

surely thats just runcorn :P hehe

i'd be tempted to go to tatton park, oulton park, maybe even a town centre for candids

tatton has deer too, i wanted to visit it the other week when they were "rutting" (i think the word is)

Widnes :nuts:Pot, kettle, black :p

This is turning into a Northwest punchup

I like Dunham Massey for a walk, deep, water birds and nice landscape, if you're into photography it's well worth getting a national trust membership, there's loads of NT properties in the NW

Hehe, i'm a warringtonion though, i only just moved here :(

I work for NT, and there is lots to do in the NW for a membership.
If your under 26 also, you can have a membership for £15.75, surely thats worth looking into!

Im new to the area and dont know where i was, i was heading from Crewe to Runcorn.
Went past a Polo grounds... could be good, dunno when the season starts.
Also near there was a Falconry Center, could be worth a trip?
