What to buy, mint condition 700D or new 750D?

Hey my girlfriend is looking to start doing some photography and we are currently looking at 2 options. Option 1 is a second hand 700D for £300 which has only ever been used twice so it's mint condition or to go for something newer like the 750D or 800D but for near double price?

Is the newer sensors and autofocus points worth the double price?

I should also point out that the higher price is in budget but the 700D offer just appeared before we bit the bullet! Also I have canon lenses already for her to use but if anyone has any other suggestions please go ahead!

for half the price I would take the 700D and use the spare budget for another lens, tripod, or flash to get going.....

Go for the 700D dependent on its apparent (cosmetic) condition, if it's from a reliable seller and as long as you can check that its shutter activation count isn't excessive. Nobody needs the very latest thing! It's a tool to do a job!
