What software comes with a Canon 400d?

Hi, I recently bought a secondhand 400d but unfortunately it came without software discs.

Am I missing anything worth having?

Hi and welcome,

It comes with Zoombrowser, a general all round package to view, cut, crop and adjust the pics on a PC.

If you have photoshop or similar then I doubt if you are missing much. I'm unsure if you can download it from the Canon website.

I have Zoombrowser I think as I'm sure that came with a Canon Ixus I bought a few years ago, but yes, I use Photoshop so won't be needing that...

The Canon 400d should have come with 2 discs I believe so there must be other software as well? If it's only basic stuff then no problem.

It's would have original come with

CameraWindow
Digital Photo Professional
EOS Utility
MovieEdit Task
PhotoStitch
RAW Image Task
ZoomBrowser EX
RemoteCapture

And other bits and bobs, if you can get a copy or borrow someone else's disk I would install the soft ware as you need it on your computer to get the software updates from Canon.

This is the only software I use in the main, and as a relative beginner, I like it
