What small cheap compact for holiday?

My dad is going to Tenerife in 10 days and wants a cheap small compact camera to take with him. He wants something slim that will fit in his pocket easily. My Panasonic TZ7 is far too chunky.

Seeing as no one else has answered - I rate the Canon S90 for that sort of usage, but if your Dad isn't fussed about manual controls he can check out any of the IXUS range, I've had a few of those before I got my S90 and they were good.
