What size / aspect should a Panoramic shot be?

Any standard rules? I am never sure what dimensions to use, but I guess important should I want a print!!

My last printed pano was 56 inches wide an 10 inches high. I dont think there is a 'standard' size though,...?

I also tend to go by what frames are availiable for ratios. Several stockists stock frames available in 4 x 12", 6 x 18" & 12 x 36". All 1:3

I agree, whatever suits your shot really, last one I did for a customer was 48''x13''
