What shall I get next?

Hi everyone,

I have got a quick question and thought the best place to ask was here..


I have saved up about £150 and have decided to splash out on some camera equipment...

(I have already got a D300 with the lens' that I want for the time being..)

So.. should I get a Speedlight SB-600?
Should I get a nice 22" Monitor for editing my photos?
Should I get something else?
Or should I save for a Speedlight SB-800?

Well, you have to think. Which one would benfit you more?? Would a flash gun hlep you take better pictures and would youget the use or would the monitor be better and would get enough use out of that??

Keep saving, the way things are going you will get a lot of bargains leading up to Christmas and beyond......

Just thinking, that probably is wise.. Wait for prices to drop after christmas, then buy both (and I'll have more money then)

And it also gives me more time to decide what I would like..

I am in a similar position , managed to save about £500 ( safe hidy hole ) and finger is itching to press the button , got a 40D , Sigma 17-70 & 50mm 1.8 & Sigma 100-300 F4 , was really thinking about a prime 300 IS/400L but not 100% decided and in any case not enough yet LOL.

get a 22" I love mine, the extra space is brilliant when you put PS in full screen mode (and nice for gaming as well lol) Dunno how you could have 2 bodies but a small screen lol, 2x 22" would be awesome (without breaking the bank like 24"'s might)

well i just got a sb-600! so i would say go for one of them as it makes a massive difference! thats if you really cant hold on to your cash!
