Hi everyone I have an image I took of my daughter I really like and want to print it to its full potential to get the most detail etc from it, there so many products and I havent seen them all in the flesh although I was thinking a high gloss aluminium panel from loxley.

heres the image, anyone any suggestions?

Postage stamp? ;)
Seriously though you seem to have posted it too small, at least for me to help.....

Thanks Paul , I was going to send it out to whoever will do the best job , thinking loxley

I wonder if this image might benefit from a high quality Matt finish, I think Gloss might be too much for the subtle shadow detail.

Are you thinking of printing it yourself or sending it out?

A lovely image by the way.

Paul

It should have opened it on my Flickr page ??

I copied the BB code off my flicker , what way should I have done it? Just so I know for next time

Thumbnail worked no problems.

Loxley alumini are great products (but of course I am biased as I work there), I would be tempted to suggest a brushed finish on this, whether you choose gloss or lustre.

Funny I was thinking maybe a brushed aluminium but am I right in thinking that whites will be silver with the brushed finish ?

If you click on my name rather than the images itself does it not divert you to my Flickr page to see the image full size ??

On android app?
Only ask as now tried on 2 phones and 3 tablets here and all behaved the same, just opened to a small 1k version.....

Whites will still be white, it is the texture of the aluminium that makes it brushed. This is a dye sublimation transfer process, not direct print. Playing with dibond aluminium and direct printing, if you do not lay down a white layer first you get the effect you mention where the pure whites are basically not printed and the aluminium shows throug

You can order a small test sample of each finish to see which suits best

Yep that works but clicking the thumbnail pic doesn't, for me anyway, just saying fyi....
