What portable background do you use?

Im agonising over a bg support with muslin (muslin for portability) or the lastolite hilite. The hilite is getting more appealing with the release of the bottle top addons which could be useful.

Just curious as to what most people use?
Do you bodge it with sheets, curtains and random material or do you use any of the lastolite products and or a proper bg support with paper, muslin etc?

Must say though, seems odd that only one person on here uses a background of any sort ?!
 
Just got a couple of stands and a white muslin backdrop.
Haven't used it yet so can't say of it's any good.
That set me back £90

Up till then I used a big bed sheet and some clips :thumbs:
 
Two big bedsheets for me. One to hang down and one to extend the floor bit forward to make sure the subjects are way in front of the background and leave room for the 2 rear lights to shine onto the background.

Its cheap but works a treat.
 
I just ordered 2.5m X 5m white pvc from Scotland. Cost £30 + £12 delivery. Will be delivered this week.

Good question, thats quite a manageable size and not bad price to boot.



Think we could organise a TP discount at Dunelm Mills for all these sheets lol :-) ??


Im watching the hilite thread with interest too, be keen to see how people get it with that.
