what online store do yu all buy your kit from?

I use 7dayshop for alot ofmy stuff, never had any problems with them.

Although most of my lenses have been purchased for people on here.

Silverprint.co.uk and discount film direct. And of course E-bay.

7dayshop
mymemory.co.uk
bristolcameracentre
amazon

ebay [carefully]

Yeah warehouse express for some-but also digital rev in japan-get some great bargains from there. Bought my sb800 for £170 sekinic l358 for £140.

They even have a customer support company in the uk to deal with any problems you may have.

Digital Rev Note

SOME equipment they say they will refund the import tax SOME

So add on 25% and if its still a bargain then go for it, Only expect to claim the extra 25% if it clearly states it in their adverts (Usually over £500)

Digital Rev
Onestop Digital
Park Cameras

Used all 3, and quick delivery on all of them

Once I've found a good seller I tend to stick with them....

7dayshop for cards etc
Jessops for camera bodies (normally a lot cheaper than the bricks and mortar stores)
Morrisphoto mainly for Manfrotto stuff.

I avoid SRS Microsystems (Nikon dealer, also on Ebay) after they tried to pull a fast one on me with a camera body I bought from them. Although it was amazing how helpful they became after a quick call to Nikon...... ;)

Yes but this is an extra saving anyway and stuff is almost always cheaper to begin with even with the vat.

D3 at mo is £200 cheaper than here

Lenses save on average £200 a time-but not always.

Very good company

Generally I like buying from shops because I like to see it before I buy it and walk out with the thing in my hand. And the difference between shops and on-line is usually quite small.

But, I have bought from warehose express and found them to be excellent.

Your right badger-but if your buying a couple of grands worth and save an extra 500 and can get another lens id often worth it. They have a returns policy too.

I asked Digital Rev about the "No Vat" thing on a £1000 lens they didn't offer it with that I am considering buying and the response was if I paid an extra £20 or so (I forget the exact amount) then they would do it. Which would seem a pretty good deal :-)

Certainly. Big savings make it very much worth while. I've never had to return anything to Warehouse Express

I must have been the unlucky one then badger-studio flash arrived all damaged-all three of them-though they were great about exchanging it.

Sometimes the shop will give a discount, memory card,% of a lens, but the important thing for me is i can try before i buy

usually buy from Mifsuds as they are extremely helpful and alway competetive, if you find item cheaper elsewhere they will do their very best to match or beat it. bought many items now including a couple of camera bodies and lenses and i've never had a problem... i also tend to use my menory for my cards again no problems... used Jessops on occassions but always over the counter... try 'www.camerapricebuster.com' they have a long list (not endless) and you can check comapny feedback aswell... Most of my stuff comes from Kerso. Just not worth the hassle going anywhere else. Easy as 1..2..3

Drop him a PM / Email asking for prices on the stuff you want
Pay Him, by Paypal, Bank Transfer or whatever
Sign for delivery.

Job done.

Must admit I not too keen on Kerso
I find that he is not always the cheapest (even paying via bank transfer). and the few "things" I have bought in the past have always taken 2-3 weeks to arrive.
I have had to remind him on more than one occasion and "re-send the order"
this makes me think the "order" has got "lost or forgotten"

I always use warehouse express because the couple times i've had a bad copy of a lens (even just worse image quality than it should be) they've been fine with replacing it, no questions asked.

Mainly warehouse express or Mifsuds

I use many, but yesterday ordered two Elinchrom D-Lite Studio Flashes plus Softboxes yesterday from Warehouse Express, and I can see from the tracking number they sent me last night that they are already en route to me. I also ordered a collapsibe reversible backdrop from http://www.viewfinderphotography.co.uk/index.php and found them to be very helpful, friendly and hopefully - reliable. They too sent me a tracking number and this too is on its way to be this morning.

Also use Kerso for lenses etc... class bloke.

what i have done in the past was used Jessops to "test" and get the feel of products, sometimes bought stuff from them via reserve and collect on there site but only if its in the sale with 10% extra off the sale price

now i mainly use and would use the following again happily

one stop digital
mpbphotographic
7dayshop
my memory (awaitng goods i bought at the weekend)

and ebay - used them for monopod, tripod and bbits for my old camera, grip and what now and saved a fortune and the goods if bought from a reputable shop with plenty feedback is 99% of the time very reliable and trustworthy
