Getting my first portrait light kit what should I Get I'm still learning at moment

Softbox one or two or umbrella or one of each and what size don't really want wired ones prefer battery ? How I trigger them can my camera do this wireless or I need a wireless trigger I used before without one and had no wires mg camera triggered them all comments welcome thanks

Cheers that's more clearer for me what should I get as a starter kit ?
 
Depends what you are taking pictures of but a couple of umbrellas is a good place to start...

Have a look on you tube for studio lighting and flash portraits it will give you an idea. Karl Taylor and Gain Hoey have some useful vids...
