What Lens would you suggest for a Canon 300d.....

I need a little bit of help off you guys if you could. Basically I would like to give equestirian and wildlife photography a blast, as I realise I may not be able to horse ride for quite a while so this seems to be the next best thing. I have very limited funds and after purchasing my 300d from here I would love to purchase a new lens. I have about £100 - £150, not much I know but what with saving up for new school clothes, birthdays and christmas I'm stretched to say the least.

second hand sigma 70-300 apo and a kenko 1.4 converter might fit your budjet

I know the budget is extremely limited to say the least but at the mo it is the best I can do. Any other recommendations anyone?

I have an old Sigma 70 - 300 DL Macro Super lens, sitting here gathering dust. I bought it off ebay a couple of years ago. The twist zoom thread is knackered so you have to use it as sort of half twist and half push pull zoom. Everything else is fine though, Af, optics etc are alright. I'd be prepared to sell it for much cheepness. If you are interested gimme a PM.
