What lens for studio

I am heading into a studio for the first time ever to carry out a project which I have had on my mind, will just be portraits of children, which lens would be best, I have a 50mm 1.8, 24-105 and the 17-40, I will be using my 5D2.....I'm thinking the 24-105 for flexibility ?

Yes, though not much flexibility. For solo head and shoulders you'll be at the long end and probably a bit longer would be ideal, but if you have to change framing a lot then the zoom range will be very handy.
