what laptop for £350

My sis-in-law needs a new laptop and her budget is £350. Anybody got any recommendations? Shes been looking a Sony Vaio that Argos have a deal on at the moment but I'm not sure of Sonys.

Its for general purpose afaik.

It might be worth checking a company named tier1online as they've had some great bargains for as new open box type stuff.

I've had alot of luck with Samsungs but you can't go wrong with a Sony. They tend to attract a premium over many other brands.

There's a Lenovo in PCWorld for that budget or a couple of Dell models in Tesco for a bit less, I'd go with one of those three.
