spotted this the other day whilst trying my new Tamron 70-300.
Is it a chiffchaff?

I have been having a few Robin Juveniles in the garden over the last couple of weeks. This photo is a grab shot, but the Juvenile seems a little more developed than the one in your picture. The spot effect is going and the red breast has developed more.

Tell you what Robert... The Tamron's a great piece of kit for the money.

I've borrowed one off a mate, and I'm really enjoying using it

It is Tony, I'm enjoying it. Would love one of the 150-600's though.
