What is going on with LR 2021 photo selection???

Just upgraded and can't work out what is going on with photo selection in Develop mode. The strip of photos at the bottom of the screen that shows the photos in the current folder or collection is just weird. I can have an image selected, press 'X' to reject the currently selected photo and it rejects a different photo, pressing a number to set a star rating does the same. Also I have to double click to get a photo to display for editing which is annoying.

Anyone else seeing these issues, is there something that can be done to make it work like 2020
 
I thought my keyboard was knackered, same issues here.
 
Mine appears to be working correctly on both computers :)
 
Working fine for me (Mac)

PS had just installed an update - maybe that's it? (11.0.1)

My computers did an update to 11.0.1 after my first post ... but still working fine - at least, the keys that I use are still working fine.
 
No problems here on a Mac
 
Lightroom Version 11.0 works fine for me on my iMac.

Thanks all, I haven't had time to check if it's still an issue, will look this evening
 
Looks like it was due to a plugin which was incompatible with the new version. It's a bit surprising though because the plug in was disabled and really has nothing to do with the film strip so it shouldn't really have been messing things up so badly.
