thank god he's got batteries and cards from his G6 or that would break the bank!!

All this lot paid for by my other two hobbies, building and mending pc's and growing orchids.
I think this will be the only hobby I've ever had that I don't make money at :whistling:

Likewise,

Only starting out so my kit accumulated over the past month or so is:

Canon 400d with 18-55mm Kit Lens (£290 new)
Tamron 70-300mm L (bought for £30)
Nifty Fifty (bought for £50)
Hoya Cicular Polariser (£14)
RC-5 remote (£11)
jessops 323 Tripod (£15)

Oh crap, I have just added the canon 28-105mm II USM as well,

As you can see buying on bargains, rather than imppulsive buying as I don't have the dosh.

What I want to add is:

Sigma 10-20mm
Tamron 17-50mm as a replacement for the kit.
Sigma 105mm macro
Replacement for the telephoto.
Kenko extension tubes

I am really enjoying this first venture into DSLR and can see why people spend the money.

Far too much, as my bank balance now demonstrates :bang:

Most of my stuff has come from Kerso (at bargain prices, compared to the UK), here goes:

Canon 40d
Canon 500mm
Canon 70-200LIS2.8
Canon 24-70L
Canon 180mm macro
Gitzo tripod
Wimberley head
Battery grip
Manfrotto tripod for macro
Manfrotto head
(£7800ish. oh my god I need to stop!! :shake:)

I dont think I really need anything for a while. Or do I maybe a 1DmkIII?

OK my name is Mark and I'm a photoholic!
