I currently have a Nikon D600 Nikon 16-35 f4 - tamron 24-702.8 so I dont need the super wide filters

I am going to Skye trip next year, and wanted to know what filters you recommend I invest in prior to the trip

I have bought the nisi v5 holder kit, as I liked the built in CPL. I also have a Lee 10 stopper and 03 & .9 lee soft grads. My 0.6 soft got broken in Iceland.

I assume Lee filters fit in the nisi holder .

Budget £400

thanks

Another 0.6 soft and a set of hard grads for seascapes.

Also a 4 or 6 stop ND.

Then you have all you'll probably need.

I use a reverse grad which I swear by for sunrise and sets !

Greenoak..... on another note what do you use more? 16-35 or 24-70 for landscapes? I’ve heard not good things of the 16-35 at less than 20mm with distortion

I can't believe that nobody has yet suggested one of those 1980's classics, the rainbow filter. That could improve your images no end. :)

Actually, in all fairness, when not playing it for laughs, and using the right focal length and aperture, it could produce a fairly passible rainbow effect, but it's good to have a laugh on a rainy Friday afternoon. :D

IIRC you'd get a real rainbow anytime the sun shone on Skye. I think we had mist or rain all the time we were there!
