Hi all.
I currently have photoshop elements 5 and i want to upgrade (as this is really old). Please tell me what is the best to go to?
My budget is about £200.
I would like something that does it all and edits a number of pictures at the sometimes (simple stuff like colour correction etc) and that make my own watermark and can apply this to all pictures instead of one at a time like i have at the moment.
Please tell me what u all use.
Many thanks
Helen

Great thank u, ill have a look at this when Im back on my computer.
Anything else? Im willing to try lots to get the right one.

Another vote for lightroom, my favourite all in one photo editor.

None of the packages are simple to master. It took me quite a while to get used to lightroom and see why it was much better for me than elements...

From time to time CaptureOne Pro is on offer at £99 +VAT, it is cracking value at that IMO. You can download a 30 day trial, it takes some getting used to but there are plenty of videos online. I find it can get more out of a raw than anything else I used (ACR, DPP, LR, Aperture).

+1. :)

Serif PhotoPlus X5 will do all you want and is much easier than Lightroom

Another vote for Lightroom. I've been using it since V2 and it's probably the only piece of software that I use which works in the way I'd have designed it.

yup lightroom, have acdsee and elements + bibble, but first choice is lightroom

Another for lightroom here although Elements 10 is very good.
