All the volunteer stuff is the big stuff like north of Scotland, Tayside and national league. paid is council stuff like the dundee distict squad ect ect.

LOL

I work for a computer reseller in the services dept, as a senior systems engineer.

In the past i have been a fully qualified Toolmaker, CNC Machine tool Setter/Programmer/Operator for a company that did a lot of defence work (aviation mainly, but some land based lol) and Formula 1/Motorsport Parts.

i am a Dolphin trainer, having trained dolphins to do many things, such as type, and watch tv.

I might also be lying....

really i am factory manager for a company that manufactures acoustic treatments for sale across europe and export to the US. Famous customers include Whitney houston, Peter gabriel, The darkness, Morcheeba, Alicia Keys and many many more. how cool is that. Shame the job sucks

works a treat...give it a go!

total layabout but soon to be a sales rep again (misses made me go backk to work) :'(

uhm, photography is my main source of income, but I also cook part time in a pub // restaurant to help make ends meet!

For me photography is my main source of "outgoings" ;) - I cant see this changing, it will always be an expesive hobby and I'm happy with that aslong as I'm enjoying it  .

Most of the time I'm an IT Admin for a small training company in the North East, when not wearing my admin hat I'm charged with the task of being the technical trainer for qualifications like Comptia (A+, Network+, etc) and Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, MCSE). Not to exciting but I enjoy computers and have been doing it for quite a while so it keeps me off the streets:D

I run the hire desk and transport for the plant hire division of a construction company, mainly arranging the movement of site accomodation (Portakabins) around the country. quite interesting for the most part, and generally a nice crowd I work with!

Working Freelance Photographer (Its not fast paced but I wont deny starting at the lower end)

I make simple HTML websites also.

I currently work in Information Security having moved across from corporate and telecomms fraud investigation and I find it incredibly dull and boring. Just recently made the decision to give the photography a serious go and I'm working on a two year plan to give up the corporate [PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER] and bull****, although with a family and mortgage.......

I take pictures of all the pretty ladies and shiny things that sparkle and go bang and make a neenaaaw sound.

I drink lots of tea.......but it doesn't pay that well :(

I bring new :baby: into the world

(Not personally, I might add.... I'm a midwife ;) )

I and my business partner ran a manufacturing business making lighting for over 25 years. End of last year we gave it up as we could not compete with Chinese imports.

So I'm retired :) and loving it so far :D

According to my business card I'm a IT technical specialist who designs mission control systems for spacecraft and satellites. That's what it says on the tin so it must be true! :D

Starting college in September studying Photography, Physics, Maths and Computing.

I am a press toolmaker at Ford. I work on new press tools, (which will eventually produce car panels) Currently working on tools for the Next Mondeo due out next year. I've worked there 27 years including a 4 year apprenticeship.

Team Leader in Repro Dept. at Heanor Gate Printing.

I own/run a small but beautifully formed transport company in Manchester

I'm a printer/copier engineer.

I fix little ones, big ones (very big ones), colour ones.
My main responsibility is for the networking side of things, network scanning, printer setup etc and I used to cover the whole of the North East of Scotland up to not far short of John O Groats, but these days because of my extra responsibilities and some important key accounts I look after, I am kept nearer to Aberdeen to hit the silly response times.

I need a helicopter. :gag:

Retired cop - 10 years uniform, 20 years CID. I'm loving every minute of retirement, but my zero level of BS tolerance makes me virtually unemployable anyway. ;)

27 years in Electronics Design/Project Management then Redundancy :)

Now Self-Employed Health & Safety Consultant , jobs a bit :bang: but get more free time for the family & hobbies

Ps Witch, I've probably been in your Portakabins & your clients probably know me :)

IT Manager with the added benefit of looking after all the offices, toilets, stationary, visa's for those employees who go abroad and are too busy to go themselves, driver to take staff to bank, dogsbody to go get the bosses coffee from whittards, assistant health & safety person, when it suits them, lock up building (means late nights no pay), open building (means early start no pay) and anything else they throw at me :-(

Tried to make my photography pay but I've chosen supermoto bike racing and they're all too tight to buy photos, magazines/papers don't pay me so I've given up with that and only take photos for those that pay and my mates race team.

Carl.

IT contractor

Specialise in large networks & WANs but currently doing senior desktop support for a bit of a change

I own my own computer shop with my mate, we have been running about 3 1/2 years, it's a struggle which hopefully will pay off in the long run but is fun and can be rewarding.

LOL - I've had dealings with some real dog Ivecos in the past - now however we seem to have what must be the ONLY reliable (touch wood) one in the country....a knackered old S Reg Hiab truck that the company keep threatening to replace with a brand new sparkly Volvo - the driver is threatening to handcuff himself to the old girl so they can't take her away!
