What do people think?

I've read their Feedback. They look OK to me and it's a good price but Ive not used them.

Seems a bit too cheap to me but I've no experience of buying from them, could be a genuine bargain.

Hmm i bit scared it might be too cheap to be ok, tho it has got a 12 month warranty

Apart from a few Panasonic Lumix cameras most of their feedback is 1.99 stuff. Shipping "2-3 days after cleared payment" suggest that they use a drop ship supplier and don't have the merchandise to hand.
The site is D n D Decals.....they have a website www.dnddecals.com/about.htm try it !

I'd be very cautious Han.

Just noticed, some feedback added for another 350D.

At worst it is likely to be a grey import, I would go for it, seems a good price and they have good feedback. :)

The only risk with ebay is when they have no feedback or won't accept paypal.

As long as there is paypal payment, you get insured up to £250.
Its a right bargain! I paid £260 for mine second hand!
snap it up right away!

really? what does that mean with the insurance? lol if its a scam or a dodgy item then im not completely bu**ered so to speak?

It's not a scam, and tbh, i doubt there is much to be cautious about.

Insurance is for the paypal payment. If there is a problem, paypal will pretty much refund you. But tbh, I think in this case you can be pretty sure they wont mess you around. :)

The Paypal protection does work but it's a lot of delay and hassle. I had to claim last year...the claim cost £18 and took about 3 months to resolve. The seller was a regular trader with good feedback but was using a drop ship supplier. He passed on the money to the drop shipper and they went out of business leaving the Ebay seller with several thousand pounds of non-existant items to ship to buyers.
It's the fact that this item is said to ship 2-3 days after payment that makes me think it is a drop ship deal and the seller won't have the goods until your money pays for them.

With this particular seller, I don't think you have anything to worry about. eBay have given him Power seller status. This then gives you a guarantee against fraud of up £500.
Provided you pay with pay pal. Looking at his feedback he has sold some more of these earlier in the month, and he has just started to receive feedback on them. So go ahead get yourself a bargain.

It looks like a good deal but as other people have said it may be too good to be true

If I were in the market for a backup camera I would be having one now. Superb price and they look like a reputable trader with the necessary buyer protection in place.

So..i emailed the seller and he said it is the UK retail kit containing everything - camera, lens, bettery etc so that all seems ok. i then emailed an ebayer who bought one a week or so ago and she emailed me back and said that she didnt end up getting it as they had supply problems (!) but she did get a refund straight away....i may risk it and see what happens..will see how i feel tomorrow tho!

Looking at the feedback, there were Lumix's they couldn't deliver as well

I'd still be tempted to go for it. With the reassurance of a straight refund, and the chance of getting it nice and cheap, I think its worth waiting for tbh.

Going back through their feedback, the only camera they have been able to supply is a second hand Olympus. 2 Canons and 2 Panasonics sold, all had 'supply problems' but at least they seem to refund quickly.

Seller looks ok not so sure about the camera though.... (Sorry- too much plastic for me)

Joking aside I would ask the sender to send it by special delivery(you may need to pay extra) , as that way you should get it fast (24hours) and be able to track it,:rules: fully insured in transit. Also ask for the tracking number and pay by paypal, but first check (via paypal that the user has a verified address and that it matches the ebay account – if not – walk away:exit:)

Hmm ended up leaving it for a bit and theyv all gone! he had 12....dont know now if im an idiot for missing out or got a lucky escape, haha

How about this (link won,t work so heres the item number)
180194859637 or better still this one 160190972399 or you could always come over to the darkside :D 270195522356

Thanks guys
tel - iv got my eye on the ebay ones
only problems is my dear mother who is going halves with me and is really reluctant to spend her money on something second hand! tis v v annoying...i have explained to her that virtually the only way i can afford an SLR is if its second hand!
