I want to put this image on canvas. I have done nothing with it yet, no sharpening etc and I want to clone out the stick. Firstly is the picture likely to be good enough for an A2 Canvas (taken with 350D and 100mm lens)?

If is is then what do I need to do in Pshop 7.0. I need to crop to correct proportions but don't know how to do this and am confused about sharpening settings?

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Don't mind if pic isn't good enough, I thought it didn't look sharp enough in thr right places, just don't be mean pls!

oops got a bit trigger happy (or it could be because I am blonde!).

I have a pic in the TP gallery, anyone remind me how to put in post
?

First of all, be aware if you want a wrap around canvas, you will lose detail all around the edge. You might want a pic with the subject more central and blank space all around it :)

will second betty, remember that canvas are to be viewed from distance as well, so if out of focus small then this will be magnified unless i am way off mark.

can you afford teh money to lose if it isnt as expected as they are not to cheap.

might be worth having chat with TOGSPRINT on here as i have just had one doen waiting for it to turn up monday but well impressed with customer service.

hope this helps

With the rough texture of the "artist's canvas" the slight lack of focus won't matter much. It may in fact make it look more dreamy, a tad impressionistic.

I agree with Betty's comment about the wrap around canvas and that you need ample 'blank' space around your subject matter to compensate for that.
Armed with this 'knowledge' you may want to reshoot for perfection, VINE.

We usually clone images for the bleed if people have cut the image a little too tight to the edges
