Well, I bought a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 off ebay, but when I was taking photos yesterday it wasn't focusing right unless I used it on manual. What would be the cheapest way to get this sorted (bearing in mind it was no returns accepted, I'll try that though.)

Chris.

First stop is back to ebay to see if the auction description mentions it, or hopefully says it has no faults, is in perfect condition etc etc. The 'no returns' policy just covers them from people returning stuff for no reason, if the auction description is misleading then you can raise a PayPal dispute as 'item is significantly different from the description' or whatever the wording is these days.

If its got a fault just send it back, if you used paypal via credit card theres no problem.

If what the poster above hasn't fixed the issue then get in touch with Sigma UK - the 70-200mm uses an HSM focusing motor which can be recalibrated by Sigma. Cost is about £36 + return postage, I believe.
As much as it's more money to spend, it's a very good lens and I did get it at a very good price so I might go for this option.
