I gave the mother of my son a ‘Happy Christmas’ on the phone ...which caught her out and she actually said thank you quite quickly, then remembered it was me and grumbled something unfathomable then shouted up the stares to my son instead. "Danny its your dad on the phone!"

What on earth is a "Slanket" :)

:) Oh, it seems to be the "original blanket with sleeves", weve got something similar in out house, its called a big coat. ;)
Why not save money though and just cut some holes in a duvet for your head and arms, then when your ready for bed just lay down on the mattress

Because then it wouldn't have sleeves... or be a blanket. Which are the two main features of a slanket. Don't knock it till you've tried it - I've got one and I love it.
