No I already have some (Vallerret). These are Rohan fleece gloves with touch screen finger tips. Nice and lightweight for when it's just a bit chilly and I still use the camera controls.
Not requested by me but at my age what do you buy a guy who has most of the things he desires (well not a Q3 43 but that's in a different league)?

Don't know, we haven't opened our presents as yet. But I can't see it being much (will be happy with that though.) as we tend to get things when we need them. As the wife has got a new phone and tablet in the last six weeks, all I have done is write phone and tablet on a couple of bits of card and wrapped them up for her.

Wife and I bought each other tickets to an Edinburgh rugby match in France, flying on the team charter with a bunch of other rugby nuts, otherwise I bought myself a new TT, and she bought bling.

Oh, an season tickets for Knockhill race circuit, standing order every year.

Nothing yet :D

Mrs WW is abroad but should be back sometime in January and I know she's got me a new man bag which I think she said is blue. I've bought her a quite a few prezies as she's been abroad for her own birthday, our wedding anniversary and Christmas. I bought myself 4 cheap "homage" watches and I'm very happy with them. I have a small collection of them, 12 now. I have a couple of nice Swiss watches but TBH they're of sentimental value and I'm frightened to wear them except on very special occasions hence the homage watches which I tend to rotate and wear a different one every day.

Four more watches.? When we spoke about watches recently, I noted you said you have quite a few. What is it about watches that holds so much interest for you ? Are they all different types ?

We didn't do much in the way of gifts but were totally skint at the moment as just signed on the dotted line for a little place in Gran Canaria, boy it's pricey there lol

My daughter got me 3 bottles of Singha for my pressie...

Yes they're all different if only with some in colour combinations. I like mechanical watches and I think they're just nice things.

A few years ago I bought some cheap ones off ebay and they look nice and are easily accurate enough but this time I bought off aliexpress and I must have struck lucky as the build quality is much improved over the ebay ones from a few years ago. I think in total I have 5 without dates which is what I prefer and 7 with dates the reason being that it's sometimes difficult to find ones without dates. With dates seems more common at least for the watches I look at. I think my favourite from this latest batch is a Rolex Explorer homage with a Omega Seamaster 007 homage being very nice too.

As far as I remember 3 of this latest batch have Rotory NH35 movements and the last, the Omega homage, has the HT Precision Technology PT5000 which I've read is thought to be better than the NH35. Actually, one of the watches which doesn't have a date still seems to have a NH35 movement in it as if you pull the crown out as if you're changing the date you can hear the mechanism. The NH38 is AFAIK an NH35 without a date but it seems they just used an NH35.
