What cheapish flash for 40D?

Hi guys

Im looking to get a flash for my 40D. I dont shoot professionally or anything like that, so I dont need anything mega good!

Im baffled by the amount of different brands and options though. So has anyone any suggestions for a budget of around £80 to £100?

I dont mind buying second hand.

I have a jessop 360AFD and it works very well and comes well recomended, you can pick them up for about £40 off ebay or brand new for your budget.

Save the cash and get a Yongnuo 460II for between £35-£40.

That'll do you for getting on with. I have a couple and they haven't let me down yet :thumbs:
 
If its your only flash something like the Nissin Di622 is a safe bet. You need TTL, or one of the cheaper YN 467/8 flashes.
 
The Yong Nuo YN565 is supposed to be out this month. Might be worth waiting a few weeks to see if it appears as it sounds quite good for what it's supposed to cost!
