What capture sharpening settings do you use?

I have a 5DII and use Lightroom and want to get a fairly reasonable level of sharpening to apply as default on import for all my pics. I usually add a bit to begin with to counter the AA filter, then do none until the end when I sharpen based on the content of the image and intended output (not sure if this is best workflow, but its what I currently do).

So what would be good general purpose settings? what do you currently use?

I've always wondered if I've been missing a trick here, so I will be good to see what others do.

Thanks,
Will

I tend to keep input sharpening to a minimum if I can.

Too much can really screw up an image, particularly if there is also output sharpening involved. It does tend to vary from image to image The default values work OK for a lot of images, but I have had the "Amount" up to 45 for some images. I tend to keep the Radius to around 1.0. Detail and Masking have to be really image dependent, when in doubt leave as they are.

A lot of my images go for repro So I tend not to apply any output sharpening. That happens elsewhere and I have no idea of the requirements so I leave well alone. You don't want two lots of output sharpening, that really screws up an image.

I don't think you've missed a trick your workflow sound sensible. The beauty of working in Lightroom is that you can go back and re edit the image without damaging it.
