In my search for the perfect camera bag its now time to move on again.
I currently have a Jessops Trek2 Backpack for when i just grab the 7d and one lens when im out walking or fishing, a Crumpler Gigolo 9000, bought because its the maximum Ryaniar will allow as carry on but i can still fit (at a squeeze) 7d, 2 lenses (70-200f8 and 18-250), netbook and cables and a Lowepro Flipside 400 AW for fitting everything in at home.
I've now outgrown the Flipside and im struggling to fit the following list of equipment in it.

7D Body
Sigma 10-20
Sigma 105 macro
Sigma 18-250
Sigma 70-200f2.8
Canon 17-85 usm
Sigma 1.4x t/c
Sigma 2.0x t/c
Canon 430 EXII
12" Note Book
Camera and Note Book chargers
Card reader
3x wireless poppers and 2x triggers
Plus all associated cables for the above.

I did look at the Flipside 500 AW but to me the only difference I can see is it allows a body plus 300 lens to be placed in the centre compared to a body plus 200ish lens on the Flipside 400 AW.

Suggestions please as to what bag (of similar quality to the Lowepro) you would suggest, i've been looking for agaes and cant make my mind up :(

If you have any pics of a particular bag loaded up that would be great.

Cheers

Darren

That's quite a bit to squeeze in! Do you ever take all of that out with you at the same time? I'm sure you've already thought about this, but I had a similar problem and just ended up getting a couple of cheap shoulder bags to keep gear in at home and then a Crumpler Shrinkle (I guess a similar size to your 400) for carrying gear when out and about. The Shrinkle is actually a little small for carrying a 24-70 and 70-200 at the same time so I'm thinking of changing but the general philosophy works well for me.

The idea of the Flipside was that everything i owned, well apart from the tri/monopod's would be in the one bag so if i went on a road trip or UK holiday i could throw the whole lot in the car and i was ready to go, the Jessops Trek2 camos along for any field trips while away, the Crumpler was for trips abroad when i only bring the bare essentials but want them to be well protected.

how much are you looking to spend?

probably stretch to £100 + what ever i can get for the Flipside 400AW, bout £50 to £60 i would imagine as its only ever been used as home storage so is perfect.

Just checking some of the Tamrac Expedition bags at the mo, look decent size/price/quality.

Yeah, can see the appeal of that. What colour is your flipside by the way? Could be interested if you decide to move it on.

It's the green and black one, once I've got it's replacement I will prob stick it for sale on here

Cool, would appreciate a PM heads up when you advertise as I'd definitely be interested.

There's loads of bag threads on here (and a few in the reviews section too), if you do a search you will see that I am a fan of the FStop gear range, I say range because you can choose what size back and camera section to have and everyone is different about how much camera/other gear the need to carry.

Yes, Paramo. Although I get my stuff shipped from their EU warehouse.

Got so many bags now :D,but never be able to find that one perfect one :(.

At moment it's Billingham,Think Tank & Kata :)

Am I allowed to say I have a bag that'll hold all that in the classifieds - used only once.

If I'm not, I'll just say those fstop bags look nice, I'm looking for the perfect backpack for my wife - it might just do.

It's a Crumpler December Quarter.

Cheers mate, just had a peep but its really a backpack style im after for speed of access to individual components, i'd have to "stack" gear in that style bag, cheers anyway.
