What are these marks?

Hi,

Recently got this lens, the seller is happy for me to post this as it is just a general question.

I have never seen mold or fungus in a lens so I'm not entirely sure what it looks like. I looked at the lens in direct light and am slightly concerned about a couple of marks, I don't want to put this lens on my camera if there is mold or fungus present.

Can anyone tell me what these marks are? (Not concerned about the dust, its way more pronounced in the light)

Aye, it's fungus alright. If you're brave, you can disassemble the lens and try some treatment, as suggested here: https://petapixel.com/2016/09/29/remove-fungus-lens/

Like he states on that Blog, do not try using typical cleaners, you're more likely to scratch the lens than kill the infection
