Hi
So recently there was a car meet organised by a company where over 500 modified cars turned up

I took photos at the even not as a job just a day out sort of thing

recently noticed that 3 of my pictures which i'd taken was put onto an Instagram by the owner of one the cars and he claimed the pictures were taken by him (3 pictures where put as a collage which cropped all 3 of my water marks out) but that not the point he has still claimed he took the photo's

In every Facebook photo i upload of albums every photo has this "All Rights Reserved Images Copyright © 2017 ******* Photography All Images Must Be Accredited For Instagram Tag @********photography*" *= part of my photography name

I'm just wondering where i stand with him claiming that he has taken the photo's

Could i send an invoice for each photo used as a claim if i didn't want just credit? (even if i'm not doing it as a job just a hobby?)

I personally would e mail him first, nice and friendly saying that your pleased he like you photos and could he credit you for taking them. Wait for his reply. If you don’t get anywhere with that approach e mail him again nice and friendly stating that he needs to take them down or you will have to invoice him.

If he has claimed they are his send a bill, then he can have them, don't even be nice about it because he had no intention of asking you by claiming they are his.

Record all the evidence, document everything, keep the raw file secure (but not online) and try to find his address to send the bill to recorded delivery.
