you tube - obvious trolls are obvious , twas ever thus

that said the few intelligent posters questioning whether the whale was really showing gratitude or whether it was grooming itself after so long with impaired mobility, may have a point
 
I'm afraid my money would be on the whale breaching and slapping simply as a reaction to having full movement / freedom restored as opposed to "gratitude".

Still a beautiful sight to see though.
