I had to send some files again to a customer that keeps losing their assets. Went to we trasnsfer and the new reality just hit me hard. Log in, 10 transfers / 3GB max per month. Other than using multiple logins this is unusable. And that is before they hit the receiver with something like that on top.

for smaller stuff I just use MEGA so it can stay there for years. Not 3 gb a pop though!!!

quick search comes up with fromsmash.com and swisstransfer.com and sendgb.com

Anyone got either of these or another good one tested out and confirmed working without any real nasties? If I can avoid it I would prefer not to waste a day testing them out.

You are running a business so pay the fees and pass the cot on to the customer? Both Google drive and Microsoft one drive allow you to share an individual folder with someone. Also Dropbox

I don't do too many video shoots, so for like 4 customers a year I am definitely not getting into another expensive sub. And definitely not looking to buy 2TB google or M$ sub plans for that thing alone. I could upload to mega then delete like next week but it is just more faffing about.

Google Drive includes 15gb for free. Setup a specific account just for transfers? As long as you don't have multiple customers at the same time should suffice?

If I have the odd video file to share I do it via my Synology drive, if set up correctly it can be used as a secure cloud service.

I just add a folder, set permissions, set a login and a time limit on that login, and send those details out - The system will log when the person logged in and if they have downloaded the video.

Put it on a TF card and post it :)
