hello,

im not sure if any of you know westmids or staffs very well
but im looking for some places to take some nice pictures!

im only just starting to get into photography and dont have many nice pictures.

so can any of you tell me some good places to go

hope you can help.

Severn Valley Railway is a nice walk and ride on the steam trains. Birmingham city centre is actually quite picturesque, and is lit up nicely at night too if you fancied some night photography.

As for picturesque type places, cannock chase, derbyshire has a few nice places i think.

Plenty of places to shoot in Staffordshire it just depends what floats your boat. If you're into industrial heritage then Stoke is good. Jodrell bank isn't far from me which is nice on a good day.

Castles at Warwick and ,my favourite, Kenilworth. Canals, either urban or country, Grand Union south of Solihull runs through some nice countryside, not to mention rivers of course. Some excellent reflection shots to be had from the mirrored buildings in Birmingham. That should keep you busy for a while!
