Wow, that's amazing mate! Christmas came very early for you this year!

You got any plans for it?

You could always pass on this giving gift ethos, I'd greatly accept your sigma 105mm macro lens! :D :D

P.S.
I think there is a back drop for sale in the classified section, can't search easily from the mobile app though, sorry.

Lucky get! Best show us some good pics now, or I will come round and confiscate it due to lack of proper use.

Looking forward to seeing the results, really enjoying the time I get with off camera lights.

Very nice how lucky, did you fire the heads with the 7D flash

Thanks Tim feel very lucky to have got them didnt think they would be this good :) yes didnt do test but I had my cam in C3 so that uses inbuilt wireless function, so I will test it out to see if if it they were fired by the flash or C3, and let you know

ill give you a tenner for the lot :p

 nice try Andrew

Cheers Chris, Ill PM you when Ive done some shots if you like

How are you going to trigger them, voltage is negative 18v possibly not good for your camera if you use a pc cable.
You can use the camera flash as an optic trigger or rf602 radio triggers but you have to rig a cable to reverse the polarity.

Hi Paul

As said I had my camera on C3 my on-board flash fired and also the studio lights flashed, no need for cables  so need to do test to see if it was triggered by the flash or the 7Ds C3 function, the booklets that came with the lights are pretty basic

Hi Dave few bits of info, they have no radio receiver, and modern receivers are + trigger voltage.
They do have an on board flash sensor that an on camera flash turned down to about 1/16 will still fire them.
A rod put into the umbrella mount can be used to hang nd film (very cheap on ebay ) to get different light stops of output

Dave, you have had these too long without giving us evidence of use.

As a result, I will have to come and confiscate these. I can be in Chorley in about 25 minutes, so get the boxes packed, I'm takin the gear!!

Oh, and if I put my Fireclubs in the car, can you teach me a few tricks with them too?
