Wedding Print Size and MP

Is there an expectancy among wedding clients when it comes to print size?

I want to work out whether 12MP from an A7S is suitable, I will probably have something printed at a larger size one might expect from wedding prints to see for myself.

So what should I accommodate for?

Is there an expectancy among wedding clients when it comes to print size?

Only rarely. And even then, they'd be hard pushed to tell you exactly what it is that they expect.

Pick a finished file at random, get it printed A4 and show it to a few ordinary people (as opposed to anybody keen on photography) in the real world. If nobody pulls a face about it, there's your answer.
