Wedding photography

Hi
i want to start up in wedding photography would anyone have any ideas how i would gain some experience i have been doing photography now for about 2 years.

From reading on here, it seems like the best thing to do is contact another wedding photographer and work as their second photographer. From this you'll gain lots of experience and get much better.

I have no experience in this, but it seems to be the way it's done.
