Happy New Year everyone!

I came across this website (http://www.sauvairephoto.com/#/mariage/) this morning from a French Photographer called Olga Sauvaire, If you are looking for some Inpiration for 2015

Have a look at her wedding photos, they are amazingly good!

Hmmm. I guess that people who like that sort of thing will find that they like those ...

I suspect Topaz will be featuring her work on their site soon, assuming they don't already.

Hmmm... to my eye most of the photos in the portfolio didn't actually look as if they were taken at a wedding.
Agree with the above, I can see the same couple in at least five different locations. There's also a certain repetitiveness about only including posed bride+groom shots.

Edit:
And the vampire guinea pig (under enfante) is just a little creepy..

I just noticed that according to her "about me", she has a passion for images which reveal true emotions that are only there for a moment.

Well, I keep looking, but ...

:agree: The same couple in so many different locations too. I keep looking for a photo of, you know, a wedding

i enjoyed looking at those though. The "brides" were stunning, very pleasing to the eye

Back to Yv's point though, didn't we ought to draw a veil here. It's pretty obvious what the wedding photographers think of this site and there's not really a lot else to add.
Can I suggest we have a look at this instead for a bit of inspiration. :D

Hi everybody!
Thank's to Yv for thanks for a reminder of rules ;)... I was intrigued by number of British people who visited my site and it was curious to track from where visitors come, thus I incidentally saw your forum. I will use opportunity to respond to some comments.

To Alastair, boyfalldown ('The same couple in so many different locations too'...). Yes, I work with slavic people, by tradition the wedding proceeds 2-3 days. In the first day we shoot the reporting, the whole second day is devoted to a trip and photos, so I have a possibility to shoot the same couple in 5-6 differents locations, sometimes in different dresses. To bertpalmer (Hmmm... to my eye most of the photos in the portfolio didn't actually look as if they were taken at a wedding.). All photos are made at real weddings even if you don't see on a background many guests and plates with food. Because we always discuss timing with couple to find at least one hour during the wedding day, before a ceremony or at restaurant, when guests are occupied with food. To Marcus Geezer: I don't use the site sauvairephoto.com since two years, really the systeme is not confortable. It is a pity to delete the site therefore it exists, but I prefer to show a portfolio on 500px.com or to use the site of my agency (www.royalweddingfrance.com). To SerendipitousSid (I just noticed that according to her "about me", she has a passion for images which reveal true emotions that are only there for a moment.): Hm...I don't know still now what is possible to write in the section "about me" that it irritated nobody:). In any case I very accurately divide reporting photos (without intervention of the photographer) and posing. It is necessary for clients to propose both of them. In a portfolio I place generally posing, and I show reporting photos in form of a slideshow or albums. I hope, you forgive me for my not Oxford English :) . It was curious to read opinion of all, thanks for interest.

My only "problem" with that text was that the words said one thing ("images which reveal true emotions") but the pictures that I looked at said the opposite (they were all posed).

Also, you say that all the photos are from real weddings, and I believe you. Your problem is that because there is no context, they look exactly like the pictures that some people take at workshops or on courses to learn wedding photography!

Anyhow, thank you for explaining that. And your English is fine :) I wish my French was half as good!
