Well after nigh on 10 years the better half and I got around to tying the knot in Red Rocks National Park, LV, Nevada about a month or so ago.

I won with which photographer we used and we now have all of our digital images and the rights to print them as we see fit (actually, I'm very happy with the results).

Now comes the tricky part, printing them. I'm fairly happy with a local Sheffield framer and printer that I'll use to get images for family/ourselves etc. but I (and my wife) would really like a nice photo album of the day.

I've used photobox etc. before but I was hoping for something that offered a little more luxury (whilst retaining print quality), can any of the wedding photographers on here suggest a company worth using?

Many thanks,
Paul

Hundreds to chose from, depends on your budget how much "luxury" you want.
Start at the top and work down is probably the best way so Graphistudio and Queensbury come to mind for quality with Loxley & Colorworld in the middle followed by Blurb & Albelli for the budget range.

Thanks.

I'd imagined as there'd be no mark up involved (the time involved being my own and the deadline being non-existent) that we'd be able to spend a little more than if done any other way.

The issue you may have with going DIY is many, although not all, of the album companies will require start up/sample pack fees.

I was just looking at Graphistudio and couldn't work out how 'DIY' would work out... Boyfalldown - any thoughts on which might work in this situation?

This company beautifulweddingalbums.co.uk let you design and order graphi online. Not sure they'll be cheaper though. Lovely do a design service that may be worth a look too.

I'd go with Loxley. Good quality & easy to deal with. Won't be a problem setting up an account, download LDP & off you go.

Downloaded now. The Bellissimo Apertura look fantastic but they fairly £££!

What? You mean wedding photographers aren't lying when they say albums are expensive:eek:

If you think the Loxley are £££ pm a member who uses Queensberry, that's eye watering.
