Wedding album dvd software

Hello guys,

In a recent family members wedding i took over 1k pics and most of them are keepers for DVD.

This is the first time ive taken wedding pics and im trying to set up a nice DVD for the couple with all the usual effets and stuff.. plus print a few off for them as a wedding gift.

The problem is i aint got a clue where to start, what software to use to make the DVD. I want to make it look as professional as possible with my little skills.

Can someone please advise me on what the best software to use is, something that isnt too complex to use, ideal foir a beginner like myself.

I have seen a few wedding dvd's in the past and some of the effects ive seen have been awesome, i would like to try my hand at it and see what sort of compelation i can put together lol.

Any help/advise/guidence would be very much appreciated at the moment all ive managed to do is slap em all on a dvd just the way they are using nero.

ProShow Gold is pretty good...simple enough to use once you have navigated through the menus a few times

Can i add music and also various templates round the pictures with this software....want to have like a slideshow with various pics templates and music running through. Does this software contain all the wedding type of tempaltes, or is that an addition i need to get.

yep you can do all that you want.

You can download the trial version for 12 days [think its 12] so you wont even have to buy it.

just re read your post and not sure about the wedding templates you are talking about so download it and see if its what you need.

You can do all that with windows movie maker for free. Or download a trial of Adobe Premier for 30 days.
