Website title?

Possibly if you want someone to find it easily or quickly.
That's the same length as my email address.

i always think photography is a really long word for a website address :(

Hell, mine is way to loooong then.............:(

Agreed. Tricky one isnt it!

It is indeed particularly if your name is also long, it's hard to see a way around it as you obviously want some sort of reference to photos, i guess you could possibly change the word photography to images just a thought

Mine was easy - we always use initials at work (on emails, on technical drawings we prepare etc) so I went for apkphotographics.co.uk. I figured anyone finding the site would either be through google or a direct link posted so not worried about how long it is, so long as its readable.

You could always use "www.theworstjokesintheworldbymattsayle.com" :D

Actually Matt, despite it being long I think it would work for you. I better register it quick and then we can discuss a price to transfer it over ;) hehe

Oi :bat

saylephotography .biz .com etc
tastymale.com?

tastymale.com - awesome! :D

Yes it is :D

Is www.mattsayle.com taken?

Shorter the better really, mine is www.deegregory.com. Anyone that visits knows its tog related, so no point putting it in the address :)
I dunno, may try that :)

I could do davidleightonphotography.com but i makes my eyes go funny  bit to long me thinks :(

I dunno why you need to put in the word photography after your name, if someone is putting in your address in directly then they already know what you do, if they are searching for your name directly then they already know what you do, even a random google search will bring up othre info right under your address anyway.

i guess the one i registered is too long then! - leeyulephotography.co.uk

Yeah mattsayle.com, its short and people obviously know what they're looking for if they've entered your web address in the first place ;)

i registered mattsayle.com, whats it worth?

hehehehehehehehehehehehe...

Me? ;)

Only kidding - go for it Matt (register1.net are the folks I use for my domain names)

mattcs3.jpg

Actually, looking at it, you could register a Phillipines domain... photogra.ph anyone?

photogra.ph is taken.. myphotogra.ph is still open but not really worth it for $70/2 years especially when considering the hastle of getting people to understand where the . goes :p

Regards, James
