I am not a professional web designer but tried to put something together. Any honest opinions, suggestions, constructive criticism are very welcome.

Honest opinion. Oh dear :) The name is pure cheese. The design is a bit, well its easy to see that you've drawn the site out in something like Photoshop rather than thought about how it will work on the web. I'm always surprised when people do designs like this because its not like there isn't a multitude of good photography websites around to draw inspiration from. Think about it like this. Would you have that as your wallpaper in your house and then hang pictures on it? Its not going to make a nice backdrop for your images when you have a gallery. The navigation is hidden away. I didn't notice it at first. You've got at least 2 fonts that don't work well together. You've also got harsh red and blue against grey. Take a look at some other photography sites and see how different they are. Simple. Less is more.

Thanks Pete for your more than honest opinion m8. :D Just trying my hands on something and was always sure that the tpf members were best to either love or hate it

Don't like the grey background, I would of gone with either black or white, think the pictures, when you get some up, will be lost in the background a bit

Link to TP - not sure if thats a good idea, of your going to sell pitures on there you don;t want to be putting up links to people who may do a better job for less money

The huge info email link text? - far too big, almost a waste of the page

home page needs a picture on - it is a photography site after all

and finally (sorry for being so harsh) but I don't really like the name, can't put me finger on it
is it meant to be pronounced canon-eean or can-o-nian or canon-ian - if you see what I mean
either way not sure about it

Not going to comment on the site as others have already done so and I may be in the similar position soon, all I need is to decide on a domain name which I think is the hardest part of creating a site.
One piece of advice is try making a obsfucated version of your email address in the html code of the page, although it would still show your proper email address on the page the actual address in the html will bw jumbled up so the spambots can't get at it. Guaranteed you put it online inthe current state it wont be long before your box gets inundated with spam. Heres a obsfucator program here== > http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/anti-email-spam/ This is only a example of many free ones available if you do a search.
Also a Catchpa might be useful, no too sure if it can be used with email, don't see why not tho' http://www.puremango.co.uk/cm_php_captcha_script_113.php

IndusWebDesign should be fired :P

I agree with pretty much everything thats been said above. As it's a photography site keep the different colours to a minimum and only choose those that work with each other. Refrain from using images for your text as there are other alternative methods for creating nice smooth stylized text on a website.

The navigation also needs to be more obvious, perhaps move it to the left of the page.
