Website Hosting for a quid for One year

I've not heard of them either, £1 a year for web hosting and free software including Go Live CS2 and PS elements 5 sounds too good to be true though ...

Well, for some of us who can be cautious enough to cancel in the 11th month if do nt wish to continue is not a bad idea to get started with this I suppose

It will be. I wouldn't touch them with a set of cheerleaders wanging a barge pole.

You'd think so - and so would I. Just been having a google around and can't find anything bad about them. Wholly owned by a large German internet company i read somewhere.

An old saying - "If it seems to good to be true, it is, really!"

No-one is going to give away the software they say they are without strings attached, even oem versions cost them something.

The only other thing I noticed was that they need confirmation of cancellation in writing (a fax is permissible). Something to keep in mind if you decide to email or phone just before the last month is up.

Seems like a good deal to draw in new customers. It can be a royal pain in the rear end to change hosts once your website/email/life is set up with a provider. I presume that they are hoping most people won't be bothered to cancel after the first year.

You are all cynics.

This is the company that hosts my website!!

All the software comes in full retail packages, and was delivered within a week. Their helpline is excellent, and the technician usually replies by telephone to an emailed enquiry within a few minutes.

Their service is truly excellent!!

Here is mine, hosted by 'Strato hosting'

All the pages are fully customiseable, and can easily be set up by a beginner.

The photographs are uploaded directly from your computer, and no knowledge of HTML is needed.

You are so right Doug. We all seem to be pressing the panic :gag: button at the 1st opportunity we get.:lol::lol:

Thanks to all those idiots on eBay who may have successfully swindled one of us..... :D

I've been looking for web hosting for a basic site to host my photos on. This seems to fit the bill nicely so I went ahead and ordered it. I'll post up an update when I get my domain and get things up and running.
